How to improve even further? 1: Some of the furniture in the property (chairs in bedroom and patio chairs) is getting close to replacement time (am sure it's on your list of things to do) and 2: Probably not feasible but converting the fountain to a cold plunge pool would be great for those hot, humid and sweaty times in the courtyard. All really friendly and helpful and in particular have to mention Kevin who is funny, friendly and a great asset to The Grand, we loved our chats with Kevin - and also Bob who is always doing what he can to make your stay as comfortable as possible - thanks guys, we hope to see you again some time soon. Perhaps what really makes the experience though are the staff. We both had pedicures at the spa and again, a very good experience. The courtyard area also really good and the hot tub is a great place to hang out and chat to the other guests. The homemade lemonade served by the pool is just the best. The pool area is lovely with good quality sun beds - whilst not that many beds there, we never had a problem getting two beds together. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything is top order. The outside shower on the patio was a nice touch and we often had our lunch on the patio. Arrival and check in was quick and simple, and our room was great - we had a one bed patio suite which was very well equipped with a superb comfortable bed and a very nice sofa area in the living room. We have just spent nine nights at The Grand, our second visit to this fabulous hotel.
